I am using a powerful collection of new presets you can also download from from Rebecca's site at Rebecca Lily's Pro Set III. Rebecca also shoots film and digital. I really like these presets. They make gentle changes to my images, they aren’t heavy handed nor do they take my images beyond what I want. I really only usually need to add slight touches to my images, Rebecca's Lightroom presets give me just the right adjustments, not too much but enough.
The sample images below are all from my Leica M9-P. The first image of each set is the original file and the second is a version created with a sample from the many presets Rebecca offers in her Pro Set III.
For an excellent and much more comprehensive review, check out the blog of my friend Ray Larose as he describes and samples images from the black and white and color presets plus the tools that are included in Pro Set III.
The many options for quick editing of your images in this set is wide ranging. It includes options for black and white and for variations in color and tone. The package also includes tools that allow further adjustments including grain, tones and sharpness, What I really like is how easy they are to use. Hovering over each adjustment generates a preview in Lightroom's navigator window so you can quickly get an idea of the effect on your image. Clicking the adjustment generates a change in your image that can easily be reset to the original version if you change your mind. The tools set includes some targeted reset options as well to make life just a bit easier as you browse the preset options.
As always, thanks for reading and check out Rebecca Lily's Pro Set III
