I look forward to Friday nights. Not only is it the end of the work week and the beginning of the weekend, it's a chance to stop by Crusing Grand in nearby Escondido, California. This past week, I arrived a bit later in the evening but had enough time for about an hour of shooting.
I had my Leica M6 with me loaded with Tri-X. I actually had a couple of extra rolls of my favorite black & white film. They were the last of the 100' roll I had loaded myself. The next 100' are Kodak T-Max 400 that I want to experiment with. I don't know that I'll eventually abandon Tri-X, I'll have to see how I like the T-Max.
Anyway, all the shots from last Friday are added to my Cruising Grand project as potential "best" images. I'm really trying to not only capture the great cars but also give more focus to the people who are there to give a feel for the place. Here are a few of my best images from last Friday.
