We made another quick visit to the Bernardo Winery today for some quick shopping. We bought some wine for New Year's eve and some post Christmas presents as promised.
While shopping, I strolled the grounds for some detail shots with the Nikon F3. I've had a minor issue with a sticking shutter curtain which I've heard isn't unusual for an F3 that's been sitting unused for quite a few years...like 15 or so years. I noticed the problem in a few past rolls where about one third of the negative was blank. So while the camera was empty, I exercised the shutter quite a few times at each shutter speed setting. So far, so good. I didn't see any issues with this roll of Tri-X shot today. They all turned out well. The winery is a great place for detail.
This will be my last post for 2014. Happy New Year everyone!
All images are with the Nikon F3 and a 50mm 1.8 lens on Kodak Tri-X processed in HC-110.
As always, thanks for reading!
