Holiday Nights at the Bernardo Winery reminds me of the German Christmas markets. It's the closest experience in San Diego that I know of to that feeling we've had in the past during the Christmas season. We lived in Nieuwenhagen, the Netherlands in the early 80's and would make the hour long drive to Cologne to visit the Christmas market there. Usually it was cold but the weather just enhanced the experience, especially of the gluehwein. The Bernardo winery offered a warmed wine experience too which we enjoyed.
The following images were taken with my Fuji X100s, my only digital camera. I've kept it for a good reason, it takes amazing images in low light. The photographs here are not post processed in any way. I find the camera's ability to handle white balance to be amazing, especially in mixed light that these images were exposed in. Although Christmas is over, the spirit of the season continues. Happy Holidays everyone.
