Last weekend I took a long stroll around Coronado Island. I literally walked halfway around the island on its perimeter. I think I walked 6 miles. Coronado is across the bay from San Diego with the signature Hotel Del Coronado as it's crown jewel. It's an historic hotel that is unparalleled for its architecture and its location on a top ten beach in all the world.
Even in December the weather was warm, no coat or jacket required. There were lots of tourists around but that only required pointing the camera strategically to keep the composition as uncluttered as possible.
The Leica MP is a joy to use and perfect for long walks. Only one camera and one lens.
These images were all captured on a Leica MP with a 50mm summicron on Kodak Portra 400 film processed by Richard Photo Lab.
