Another busy, crazy week at the office where photography can never be my priority. I take daily photographs when I can but they are not the first thing on my list for the day. But, when I have the camera in hand, my whole perspective on the day changes. It's a newfound freedom.
Whatever has happened earlier in the day just kind of melts away. It's not always easy to move away from the grind of the day but the moment when I can bring the camera to my eye are liberating and magical. I'm doing what I love to do most. It might be the first and only frame for the day but there is nothing better than taking photographs. For this reason alone, I'm grateful for this project. It forces me to take even a fleeting moment for the thing I love to do.
