Week six of Project365..up to day 42 already! I had thoughts of hanging up the project this week. All sorts of distracting stuff going through my head seeding doubts and negativity. The new Fujifilm XPro-2 announcement really got into my psyche. In addition to my love for film, I shoot digital with a Fujifilm X100s, a camera I love to shoot with. The X-Pro2 just distracted me from my daily goal to shoot film. I think I'm okay now. :-)
This week's images are a bit of a cornucopia. The first image is of my faithful Yorkie, Vegas. He's an unusual white, tan and grey Yorkie. He's at my side all the time.
The second image of the week is from a laser tag place where we had my grandson's birthday party. It was a blast to watch a bunch of boys and a few girls have fun with laser rifles. It reminded me of my days growing up when we'd pick sides and play war with our plastic guns and pistols. We'd take turns attacking and defending Castle Hill in my old home town of Dunoon Scotland. Hard to imagine a scenario like that with kids these days. But we had a ton of fun and got some big time exercise now that I think on it.
The fourth image is at a deli place here locally in San Diego where we had an Air Force Association golf tournament planning meeting. We meet monthly planning the tournament that happens on April 8, 2016 here in San Diego. If you're local or in the area you can sign up at http://bit.ly/1Xua4hg (one of my websites) for only $100 including a round of golf and dinner. All proceeds go to support the Air Force ROTC scholarship program at San Diego State University.
The last three images are just things I see around my workplace. I go out for a walk at lunchtime every day. These shots are around the campus at the University of California, San Diego where I work.
Thanks for stopping by.
